PhD Student in Communication
University of Massachusetts Amherst

Research, journalism, and editorial work shaped by community-based processes in Colombia’s Pacific region and Afro-Latin American scholarship.

AboutPublications

My work brings together communication research, journalism, and writing, with an interest in how people and communities understand, negotiate, and respond to relations of power.

Before beginning doctoral studies I worked as a political and judicial journalist for EL TIEMPO, in communication strategy at CoCrea, and on editorial and research projects with Universidad Icesi and the Afro-Latin American Research Institute at Harvard University.
